JOBST FarrowWrap LITE | JOBST UK#

JOBST FarrowWrap LITE is a compression garment made with double-laminated fabric which is durable and soft. It contains a lower level of compression (20-30mmHg) than other FarrowWrap garments and is suitable for patients with mild to moderate swelling originating from lymphoedema and chronic venous diseases.

It comes with an adjustable VELCRO® brand hook & loop system that allows patients to respond better to fluctuating oedema levels by simply tightening and loosening the wrap throughout the day. The overlapping design provides essential support for managing oedema and helps reduce the risk of swelling forming between the bands.

Some of the key attributes of JOBST FarrowWrap LITE include:

- Available in 20-30mmHg compression level.
- Comes with a liner to protect the skin.

These compression garments are available in ready-to-wear and made-to-measure.

- Ready-to-wear – These medical compression garments come in various sizes and lengths. They are easy to measure for and readily available off the shelf.

What are the different compression classes?#

Compression garments come in different compression classes, ranges, or levels. This description differs between regions or countries. In Germany, for example, the so-called RAL-GZG standard is dividing compression garments into four different compression classes from mild to very strong compression or class I-IV. The exact pressure of each compression garment is usually specified in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and varies according to medical necessity. It is not always useful to assign a specific compression class to a certain condition, therefore Healthcare Professionals will make individual decisions on the suitability of a certain compression level for each patient. This is usually based on the clinical condition itself, the patient’s tolerability for compression, additional conditions, and further individual needs.

How to use the product#
